The task

A thunderstorm outside the window. The rig humming in the flat. A sharp thunderclap — the power cuts, the rig dies, silence and darkness. The hero sits in the dark, then takes out his phone: on the dashboard the ASIC is still active, because it is not in this flat. He steps onto the balcony and looks out at the dark courtyard. Title card: “My hardware switched off. It was never mine.” Do NOT promise uninterrupted operation and do NOT promise “income in the dark”. The storm, the balcony and the title card wording are yours. The task
