ECOS Creators Cup — Official Rules

Version v3 — effective when published on the Platform. This version updates the mobile-first submission format and voting economics. No like recorded before publication is repriced, removed, or charged again; the new cost and per-work limit apply only to likes recorded after publication.

1. Organizer and governing documents

The ECOS Creators Cup (the “Contest”) is organized by CJSC ECOS-M, registration number 286.120.1048406, of 26/1 V. Sargsyan Street, Kentron 0010, Yerevan, Republic of Armenia (the “Organizer”).

These Rules supplement the ECOS Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If they conflict, these Rules control only the Contest. Mandatory law always prevails. The English version controls. There is no language requirement for a submitted work.

2. Eligibility

You may enter if, when you submit, you are an individual registered ECOS member, at least 18 years old, legally able to accept these Rules and the Content Licence, and participation and receipt of the prize are lawful where you live. Persons who administer or judge the Contest, and their immediate family or household members, are not eligible for a prize.

Only one ECOS account per person may participate. The Organizer may request reasonable evidence of identity, age, residence, account ownership, rights in the work, and other eligibility facts before awarding a prize. Failure to provide requested evidence within the reasonable deadline stated in the notice may result in disqualification.

There is no fee to submit a work. Voting uses MP under the terms displayed on the Platform. Buying an ECOS product or service does not guarantee submission approval, a qualified like, rank, or a prize.

3. Contest period and submissions

Each round runs on the dates and times displayed on the Contest page. All times are UTC. If a displayed date conflicts with a general description in these Rules, the exact timestamp displayed for that round controls.

To enter, create an original video or image that follows the daily scenario and required phrase, tags, or link; publish it as a publicly accessible post on a supported platform shown in the submission form; and submit the requested link and media through the Contest form before the deadline. You may submit one video and one image per UTC day. A moderation rejection frees that nomination's daily slot; withdrawal, takedown, or disqualification does not.

The Contest is designed for mobile-first short-form content. Submitted videos and images must use a vertical 9:16 format suitable for Shorts and Reels; 1080×1920 pixels is recommended. The file types and maximum file sizes shown in the submission form also apply. The Platform does not automatically verify aspect ratio or pixel dimensions.

The external post must remain public and accessible through finalization of the round. A submission is received only when the Platform confirms it. Upload attempts, drafts, incomplete forms, and inaccessible external posts are not entries.

4. Content standards and moderation

A work must be original, responsive to the published scenario, and suitable for public display. It must not violate law or third-party rights; disclose another person's private information without permission; contain hateful, sexually explicit, dangerous, deceptive, defamatory, or abusive material; make false or misleading claims about ECOS; or include spam, malware, hidden advertising, or manipulated engagement.

You must have written permission for third-party music, footage, artwork, trade marks, names, likenesses, voices, and other protected material included in the work. If a minor appears, you must have permission from the minor's parent or legal guardian. Template, duplicate, or AI-generated content may be rejected under the moderation criteria shown on the Platform. Use of AI does not reduce your responsibility for the work or the rights needed to submit it.

The Organizer may approve, reject, remove, take down, or disqualify a work reasonably believed not to comply with these Rules. Approval is not a legal endorsement of the work and may be revisited if new information is discovered.

5. Voting, qualification, and ranking

Each member may support the same work with up to ten separately recorded likes. Each like costs 100 MP, is subject to the daily limit displayed on the Contest page, and is final once recorded, except when reversed by the Organizer for technical error, fraud, or invalid activity. Likes are not sold as a separate product: each like is an individual support action chosen by the member. Spent MP is burned and is not transferred to the creator.

Only qualified likes count toward rank. The current account-age and qualifying-action thresholds are displayed on the Contest page; welcome, trial, reversed, fraudulent, or otherwise excluded activity does not satisfy them. Counts and ranks shown before voting closes are provisional. The Organizer may invalidate votes linked to bots, duplicate or controlled accounts, coordinated exchanges, paid vote farms, self-voting, technical exploitation, or other manipulation.

Works are ranked separately in the Video and Image nominations by: (1) qualified likes, highest first; (2) referred sign-ups, highest first; (3) submission time, earliest first; and (4) the Platform's stable work identifier, ascending, solely to resolve an otherwise exact tie.

6. Prizes

Each nomination has 25 prize places and a total of 1000 TH/s of hashpower supplied through 30-day ECOS mining-service contracts: 250 TH/s for 1st; 130 TH/s for 2nd; 60 TH/s each for 3rd–5th; 40 TH/s each for 6th–10th; and 16 TH/s each for 11th–25th.

Each prize position has its own minimum number of qualified likes: 25 for 1st place, 15 for 2nd place, 10 for 3rd–5th places, and 5 for 6th–25th places, in each nomination. A work that does not meet a higher prize position's minimum may still qualify for a lower prize position with a lower minimum. One creator may receive only one prize in a round across both nominations: the highest-ranked eligible prize. Any other prize position held by that creator cascades to the next eligible work in the same nomination. If no eligible work fills a place, that prize is not awarded.

The prize is the stated hashpower and duration, not money, a crypto-asset, or a promise of any amount of mining output or financial return. Actual mining output depends on network conditions, difficulty, service conditions, fees, downtime, and other factors governed by the applicable ECOS service terms. No cash alternative or transfer is available unless the Organizer expressly agrees in writing.

Winners will be notified in-app and may also be contacted using their ECOS account details. A winner must confirm acceptance and provide accurate delivery, tax, compliance, and identity-verification information requested by the Organizer within 30 calendar days after notice. Where lawful, failure to do so may forfeit the prize. Winners are responsible for taxes and reporting obligations unless applicable law requires the Organizer to withhold or pay them.

7. Fair play and enforcement

You must not vote for your own work, use multiple or controlled accounts, automate activity, buy or exchange votes, interfere with the Platform, impersonate another person, submit copied work, or coordinate conduct intended to distort qualification or ranking.

For a suspected breach, the Organizer may investigate; temporarily withhold results or delivery; invalidate affected likes; disqualify a work or participant; revoke Contest-related tickets or an undelivered prize; and suspend or close an account as permitted by the ECOS Terms of Use. Measures will be proportionate to the available evidence and applicable law. Records may be retained to investigate fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with law.

8. Results and disputes

At the voting deadline, the Platform snapshots provisional standings and opens the dispute window shown on the Contest page, normally 48 hours. A participant must send a specific dispute, with supporting evidence and the relevant account and work identifiers, to the dispute contact displayed below before that window closes.

During the dispute window the Organizer may correct technical errors, invalidate improper votes, and recompute provisional standings. Results become final only after review and finalization. The Organizer's determinations are final to the extent permitted by law, without limiting any mandatory consumer right or right to apply to a competent authority or court.

9. Personal data and publicity

The Contest page publicly displays submitted media, external-post links, display names, avatars, rankings, vote totals, and winner information. The Organizer processes account, submission, moderation, voting, fraud-prevention, communication, verification, and prize-delivery data to operate and protect the Contest as described in the ECOS Privacy Policy.

Do not include private or sensitive personal data in a work. By entering, you confirm that people identifiable in the work have given the permissions required for the public and promotional uses described in the Content Licence. Privacy requests may be made through the contact method in the ECOS Privacy Policy; legal or operational retention and copies already lawfully distributed may limit immediate deletion.

10. Changes, suspension, and cancellation

Subject to mandatory law, the Organizer may amend these Rules and the Contest's mechanics, eligibility criteria, submission or voting parameters, prizes, schedule, moderation standards, or other conditions for operational, product, business, fairness, security, compliance, or technical reasons. An amendment may apply to an ongoing or future round only from the effective time stated in the published amendment.

The complete amended Rules will be published in an accessible form on the Platform's Contest Rules page or through another electronic channel agreed under the ECOS Terms of Use. That publication constitutes notice of the amendment; separate individual approval or personalized notice is not required to the extent permitted by law. Where mandatory law requires advance notice, a specific notice period, renewed consent, or another procedure, the Organizer will follow that requirement.

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, an amendment will not retroactively reprice an already-recorded like, remove a valid submission solely because of a newly introduced requirement, or revoke a prize that has already become final. This does not limit proportionate corrections for technical error, fraud, invalid activity, illegality, security, or enforcement of terms that applied when the relevant action occurred. The Organizer may suspend, extend, modify, or cancel a round and will state the effective time of any material change on the Platform.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer is not responsible for failures of a participant's device, connection, social platform, or other third-party service; late, lost, corrupted, or incompatible uploads; or events outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Rules excludes liability or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

12. Law, disputes, and contact

These Rules and the Contest are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without depriving a participant of mandatory protections that apply in their place of residence. Before filing a claim, please use the dispute contact shown below and allow the Organizer a reasonable opportunity to respond. Subject to mandatory law, disputes are resolved by the competent courts of the Republic of Armenia.

1. When this licence applies

This Content Licence is an agreement between you and CJSC ECOS-M (the “Organizer”) and applies to each work you submit to the ECOS Creators Cup, including its video, image, cover, audio, text, captions, and other submitted elements (the “Work”). You accept it by checking the licence box and submitting the Work. It supplements the Contest Rules and the ECOS Terms of Use.

2. Ownership

You keep ownership of your Work. This licence is non-exclusive, so you may continue to use and license it to others. The Organizer is not required to use, publish, promote, or keep the Work available.

3. Licence grant

You grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, sublicensable, irrevocable licence for the full duration of the applicable intellectual-property rights to host, store, reproduce, publish, display, perform, communicate to the public, transmit, distribute, make available, translate, subtitle, dub, edit, crop, resize, reformat, adapt, create derivative materials from, combine with other material, and otherwise use the Work in any current or future media.

The Organizer may exercise those rights for any lawful business purpose, including operating, moderating, documenting, and archiving the Contest and ECOS services, announcing results, editorial and public-relations use, and advertising or marketing ECOS, its products, services, communities, and future contests. The Organizer may sublicense or transfer these rights to its affiliates, successors, advertising and distribution partners, social and media platforms, and technical or professional service providers only for those purposes.

The licence is granted without further approval, notice, attribution, or payment, except for a Contest prize you validly win or where mandatory law requires otherwise. It survives withdrawal of the Work, removal from the Contest, deletion or closure of your account, and the end of the Contest.

4. Name, likeness, and publicity permission

For the same purposes and duration, you permit the Organizer to use the display name, account handle, avatar, image, voice, likeness, biography, and statements that you submit or make publicly available with the Work. The Organizer will not intentionally present a paid endorsement by you that you did not make. Mandatory publicity, privacy, and personality rights remain unaffected.

5. Editing and moral rights

You consent to the editing and contextual uses described above, including shortening, excerpting, combining, translating, adding branding, and adapting aspect ratio or format. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive and agree not to assert moral or similar rights in a way that prevents an authorized use. Where such rights cannot be waived or limited, nothing here transfers them, and the Organizer will respect those mandatory rights, including protection against a use that unlawfully prejudices the author's honour or reputation.

6. Your confirmations

You represent and warrant that:

• you are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to grant this licence;
• you created the Work or control all rights and permissions needed for every use allowed here;
• the Work and the Organizer's authorized use will not infringe copyright, trade mark, privacy, publicity, contractual, confidentiality, or other rights, and will not violate law;
• every identifiable person, performer, location owner, and other rights holder has given all necessary permission; a parent or legal guardian has consented for any identifiable minor;
• all music, footage, fonts, artwork, software, stock material, and platform content is original, in the public domain, or covered by a licence that permits these uses and sublicensing;
• the Work contains no confidential or unlawfully disclosed personal data and no false or misleading statement about ECOS; and
• you remain fully responsible for AI-generated or AI-assisted elements and have the rights needed to license the final Work.

You will provide reasonable evidence of these rights and permissions if the Organizer requests it. The Organizer may reject, remove, or stop using a Work if it reasonably believes these confirmations are untrue, without terminating rights already granted for lawful uses and copies.

7. Third-party platforms and retained copies

Publication through a social network, app store, advertising network, press outlet, search engine, archive, or other third party may also be governed by that party's terms. The Organizer cannot guarantee deletion of copies lawfully published, cached, indexed, downloaded, syndicated, or retained by third parties.

A valid copyright, privacy, or other legal complaint may be sent using the contact method in the Contest Rules or ECOS Privacy Policy. The Organizer will assess it under applicable law. Removing public access does not require deletion of security, audit, dispute, compliance, backup, or legal records that the Organizer may lawfully retain.

8. Personal data

Public identifiers and other personal data associated with the Work are processed as described in the ECOS Privacy Policy. This licence authorizes use of the Work and associated publicity attributes; it does not waive data-subject rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

9. No additional compensation or relationship

Except for a prize validly awarded under the Rules, no fee, royalty, residual, reimbursement, or other compensation is due for an authorized use. This licence does not create employment, agency, partnership, joint authorship, or an obligation to enter another agreement.

10. Governing terms

If this licence conflicts with the Contest Rules or ECOS Terms of Use, it controls only the permissions granted for the Work. Mandatory law always prevails. This licence is governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia; mandatory protections and remedies available to you remain unaffected. The English version controls.
